The Team

Rhys Young
Meurig Hailstone
Rhys has worked in the industry as a recording engineer, sound designer, foley artist and more recently dubbing mixer.
Rhys also carries out Audio Description work for parent company CTV Sound Studios.
Rhys is a fluent Welsh speaker, perfect for those bilingual projects.
He's worked on a range of programmes & films for a wide variety of clients. He's also experienced in mixing commercials and corporate videos for clients including the Welsh Government, Sofa Sofa, HMRC, the NHS and Transport for Wales.
Meurig has been with Hoot's parent company CTV Sound Studios since 2003 and has worked on numerous animation re-voicing projects as both a recording engineer and dubbing mixer.
Also being a Welsh speaker helps Meurig with his regular audio-description recording and voice over sessions.
Meurig is our resident technical geek, who feels equally at home either behind the mixing desk or with a soldering iron in his hand, fixing, installing or even modifying equipment.
