Creating a buzz for Waitrose. Location recording and sound design for their latest TV commercial.
Waitrose have launched their latest commercial showing customers where their food comes from. We were approached to work on the award-winning campaign earlier this year, and the latest advert can be seen on TV now. Location recording and audio post production was by Nick Davies, who used a range of microphones to capture the sound of the bees heard in the advert, as well as the atmos on location.
Nick also completed the Foley sounds for the spot. We do enjoy a bit of Foley!
But the real star of the show is the bee! Thanks to the agency, adam&eveDDB, and production company, Outsider, for a great collaborative approach. You can watch the advert below.
